What Is A Chiropractor?

I Want To Answer A Question That I Know A Lot Of People Ask

What is a chiropractor?

That’s a question a lot of people, you know, might ask that aren’t familiar, have never been to one before.

So I want to take a moment to kind of address what is a chiropractor so everyone knows.

A chiropractor is a doctor who focuses mainly on the spine and the surrounding musculature as well.

So with that, we also work on the different joints of the body.

So it’s a musculoskeletal doctor.

So things like injuries to the back, the neck, knees, ankles, and shoulders, are all things that we typically see and treat in our practices.

Now from there though, most chiropractors then get pretty specific and treat certain types of cases.

So for me, in my office, the ones that we focus mainly on are trauma, accident injury-related, and chronic injury, chronic illness-related things that have to do with the spine, the musculature, and the joints.

We use our hands and machines instead of drugs and injections.

We try to get it done as naturally as possible, and the goal is that we use a combination of different modalities, whether that be adjusting, whether that be massage, whether that be physical, or physiotherapy in conjunction to make sure that you get the best results possible so we can get things done in one treatment plan instead of having to do multiple things and you’re coming back over and over again.
